In spite of the “uneventful event”, The 7th annual VFW 805 .1K had 405 registered “runners”, 30 sponsors, and raised approximately $15,500 for the VFW National Home for Children and the SGT Charles A Fricke VFW Post 805 Troop Support Fund. We are thrilled with the outcome, especially with all of the challenges we had putting this event together this year. We thank all involved who stayed with us for the ride. We absolutely could not do any of this without our sponsors, volunteers, donors, and registrants. These funds will go a long way in helping our Post and our veterans!
